TONGA - June/July
|
|
Trip to Tonga, in Ha'apai and Vava'u. Firts place I stayed with the Sitaleki's family in Faleloa and later in Vava'u at Portwine Guesthouse. It was an amazing experience.
Tonga has got its secrets... Mobiles just got there 2 years ago, and also it seems the place doesn't really need it...

Trip to Colombia, passing by Taganga, Cartagena and Cali! Fiesta all the time!!!!!!!!!!
Santa Marta region is about the rainforest and Tayrona National Park and beautiful diving. Cartagena is all about the heat, humidity and a few Aguilas.... Cali is about Salsa, Reggaeton, Merengue, Vallenato and Romáaantica, and of course, Paola and Renato's Wedding festivities....

MOÇAMBIQUE - TOFO AND INHAMBANE

So, if Tanzania was nice, Moçambique WAS GRAND!!!!! People's smile and simplicity, the food, the warmth, the music. It was the best surprise I could have in my trip! Lot's of plus... The DIVING was the best in my life, thanks Justine and Jonas for the time - I will never forget my 3,5 meters Manta, or my guitar shark fish, or my humpack whales. Whale sharks? next visit....
The dinners were awsome and our night party at Fatima's kitchen were the BEST! I really miss all of you, Yemi, Jerome, Raoni, Elena, Sara, Benji, Oded, Chris, Raimond, Simon and wish I was still there! But I hope you all come to visit me in Brasil!  Thanks for watching my championship in ADPP, it was really nice of you! I am so proud of you and of course, my nice players!!!!!!!! Loves!!!!!!

TANZANIA - SELOUS

So, this was the end of the trip through Tanzania, and certainly THE BEST of it. Selous is not visited, not much known and as for that, the little secret of tanzania - being the size of let's say, Switzerland just there... Katie and Kenny WERE THE BEST!!! They even let me drive their 1952 Land Rover, that's the only reason!!!!  Joking!!!! Super recommend it! www.selousrivercamp.com Miss you Katie and Kenny!!!!

So, this is for the easy life.... It was nice to have been included in a local 'family' and be treated as for the 1st wife of dear Anthony... At least Isa and I were protected against crazy buy offers to be the 3rd or 4th wife of some funny muslim in Zanzibar!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a very nice part of my trip... trekking up the heights of Kilimanjaro! I was enjoying the ride but in the end i got really cold when it got to something like -15ºC...
Many congrats to Dan, Chris, Simone, Jez, Lynn, Chad, Matt and Stephen! You were the nicest company up in the mountain - and also for the Tusker or Serengueti Beers...

This was the second step of my trip... The northern circuit of Tanzania! Just met fine people on the way, but even surprinsingly the giant animals of Tanzania... But of course, there is always room for listening amazing things about animals, for instance, what time does the lion wake up???????? Albert, that's only for you....
